Music

SVA offers one of the widest ranges of music organizations to be found in any academy:  two choral organizations, a concert band, a string ensemble, an orchestra, and a handbell ensemble.  Private lesson are available without charge on most instruments, including piano and organ.  The tradition of high quality music organizations and performances continues under the direction of six music faculty members. SVA music organizations perform and/or tour in the Eastern U.S. and Europe.
